Tamron In Store Demo: Friday, June 10th 2016, 10:00am – 5:00pm
Swing by to visit with our Tamron rep, and learn about the incredible lens line up for Canon, Nikon, and Sony cameras. You will have an opportunity to try lenses out in the store, ask Marc any and all tech or creative questions you may have, look at sample images, and more! Marc will have a full selection of lenses for you to play with, including the amazing new prime lenses (35mm, 45mm, 85mm, and 90mm). Bring your camera and a memory card, and have a great time trying out this exceptional glass!
Denver’s Historic Baker Photo Walk
Saturday, June 11th from 2:00pm – 5:00pm
Join Tamron USA’s Marc Morris and urban landscape photographer (and Englewood staffer) Erin on Saturday, June 11th to explore all that Denver’s historic Baker neighborhood has to offer. Marc will be loaning out prime lenses from Tamron, or any other lenses that may tickle your fancy, and we’re sure to have a blast! Baker offers a variety of creative photo opportunities, from urban landscape to street photography, architectural to abstract! This photo walk is limited to 12 participants. Cost is $25, but includes a drink and appetizers after we’re done photographing! Register online today.
Sony In Store Demo: Friday, June 24th, 10:00am – 5:00pm
Come on by the store to learn more about Sony mirrorless cameras and meet the rep! Jeff will answer all of your Sony and mirrorless questions, and will be showing off the newest Sony additions–the A6300 camera and G Master lenses (24-70mm, 70-300mm, and 85mm). Test out gear here in the store, have your firmware updated, or simply hang out to talk shop with us!
Introduction to Night Photography with Marisa Jarae and Fujifilm
Saturday, June 11th @ 7:00pm
Have you always wanted to learn night photography, photographing the stars and Milky Way? This is the workshop for you! Come explore the art of photographing the beautiful Colorado night sky with professional adventure/landscape photographer Marisa Jarae at Mt. Evans! Sponsored by Fujifilm, we will have tech rep Larry Battistello on site with X-Series cameras and lenses to demo. We will visit Mt. Evans and Summit Lake to create dynamic landscapes of the Colorado night sky and beauty of the Rocky Mountains by night. Bring your own camera or borrow a Fuji, and come out for a wonderful evening of photographing in the dark! Cost to attend is $35, and you must provide your own transportation. We may be able to arrange some carpools to the mountain. More details will follow upon your course registration.
