Back by popular demand, Englewood Camera has created one more date for our A Shot in the Dark: Night Photography at Mt. Evans workshop! If you missed out registering for the June and August dates, here’s your last chance to join us for a fun-filled weekend shooting the stars and the Milky Way on Mt. Evans! This workshop runs Friday, September 11th (lecture) and Saturday, September 12 (shooting in the field).
Englewood Camera is pleased to announce a new summer workshop in downtown Denver! Join professional architectural photographer JC Buck, Sony digital imaging specialist Marc Morris, and staffer/professional photographer Erin Brinkley-Burgardt on Friday, July 17th to explore the best vantage points of creating awesome cityscapes! We will begin in the Denver Berkley-Highlands neighborhood, viewing downtown Denver from the west, and then head to the opposite end of town to capture the skyline from the east. This is going to be a fun-filled workshop, giving you greater insight to vantage points around town, and the art of creating awesome cityscapes in a variety of lighting scenarios. We will begin at 5:00pm and work into nightfall.

First on our list is a night workshop with Sony’s Marc Morris and Englewood Camera’s operations manager/professional photographer Erin Brinkley-Burgardt! Join us in June to learn how to shoot star trails and the Milky Way on Mt. Evans and at Summit Lake. This weekend workshop is only $50, and we guarantee you’ll have a blast. Wildflower season is coming up in July–and we have just the photo opportunity for you! Join Englewood Camera, Fujifilm, and professional landscape photographer Dan Ballard for a three-day workshop in Crested Butte, CO. Wade through waist-high wildflowers and take in the scenic beauty that Crested Butte has to offer–and refine your skills as a photographer at the same time. Calling all Sony A6000 or A58 shooters! Englewood Camera is pleased to announce two upcoming classes in February designed to teach new Sony camera users the basics. Join Sony technical representative and digital imaging specialist Marc Morris for a two-hour, hands-on workshop for your A6000 or A58. You’ll learn how to navigate the menus and customize the camera to your own specifications, as well as basic functions for making excellent photographs. Space is limited, so sign up today!

Join Englewood Camera on Saturday, September 13th for a fun-filled day of photography! Old town Morrison has a wealth of creative opportunities, from urban to traditional landscape, and is a convenient drive from the Denver metro area. We will explore the town of Morrison, and have demo equipment, courtesy of Sony, for you to play with! Bring you Canon and Nikon lenses along (adapters will be available to use your glass on Sony cameras), and any other equipment you wish to use. Registration is limited to 8 people, and cost is $25 to attend.
